Haha. Woeful. Still can't deny he bowled wonderfully in that series though.

thanks mate, been looking forward to see this one more time...Freshly uploaded for sumantra. Horrible decision, the ball has to hit the pad AT SOME STAGE to be LBW!
Disgusting umpiring in India- Ricky Ponting out LBW- ball doesn't even hit the pad!!! 1998 - YouTube
Tony's commentary makes life all the more irritating tbh.Yes you can
Tonys commentary makes the whole hattrick even more irritating it must be said
amen!Kaspa. c G Jones b. Harmison.
Edgbaston 2005.
:oIf that was an "Australian wicket", then try and defend this one, as typical an Indian wicket as is possible, no umpire training at all. No part of this dismissal is even close to out.

I think the rules were changed after that match. Not sure though. Anyway if it was not illegal, I wouldn't put any blame on West Indies players as the umpire had signalled no ball immediately and the batsman just didn't watch him.Yep, I'm going for slowest half century ever. To be fair I'm just starting to pick up the pace.
Dunno if this one's been mentioned yet but this decision upset me a lot.
Unsporting cricket by the West Indies - Dean Jones bizarre run out - YouTube
Haven't seen it for years. I was under the impression it was technically a wrong decision but looking at the replay now seems Deano actually ran back to try to make his ground. Does that make any difference?

I loved his action when I was a kid back then. Had got a name among my friends for imitating bowler's actions and mannerisms back then and Chauhan's action was my trump card.haha, geez worse than I remembered. The worst on a day of shyte decisions.
EDIT: Oh man, how bad was Chauhan's action?
Actually, it was pretty glorious with his arms high above his head like that, like a magician about to do a reveal. It was when it came time to deliver the ball that the problems happened....I loved his action when I was a kid back then. Nah he was walking off. Was only when the fielder moved towards the stumps that Border shouted to him to get back.I think the rules were changed after that match. Not sure though. Indeed that was the rule, and it still is, the umps just didn't know it. Useless. The laws certainly weren't changed after that game, more like the umpires got a LESSON in umpiring from Bob Simpson.Nah he was walking off. Was only when the fielder moved towards the stumps that Border shouted to him to get back.
I thought the rule at the time was you couldn't be run out off a no ball unless attempting a run.
