Which Was the Worst Possible Umpiring Decision That You Have Seen

Ah well, I seem to vaguely recall we picked up a couple of reasonably handy players from that deal. Cheers Colbie!!

Yep, I'm going for slowest half century ever. To be fair I'm just starting to pick up the pace.

Dunno if this one's been mentioned yet but this decision upset me a lot.

Unsporting cricket by the West Indies - Dean Jones bizarre run out - YouTube

Haven't seen it for years. I was under the impression it was technically a wrong decision but looking at the replay now seems Deano actually ran back to try to make his ground. Does that make any difference?
Law 38(2) says you're not out on a run-out if you're out of your crease when the wicket is put down and you hadn't been attempting a run. Umpire Cummerbatch claimed after the day's play that he thought Deano was taking a run (after being knocked over middle-peg, mind you) which is just laughable because it means that whether Deano had kept walking or tried to make his crease like he did, the umpire would have given him out anyway. Anyone with two functioning eyes can see he wasn't trying to take a run.

Terry Prue was such a numpty.
