Yeah, and it was a very low scoring game. On average each wicket went at the cost of less than 15 runs!Durham won a match?
The f is going on?
Doesn't exactly shout "high quality" does it?

Perhaps it was the finest all round display of bowling in the history of the game.Yeah, and it was a very low scoring game. On average each wicket went at the cost of less than 15 runs!

Morgan made 0 and 2.Durham won a match?

He doesn't bowl though, which is an issue with doubts over Swann's elbow.I was on bout Durham actually winning a match tbh.
Morgan only got in the Test team cos he did very well in the One Dayers.
Taylor I reckon might be the bloke that fits the bill though.

Last time we went in with five bowlers at Headingley we lost by an innings & 80 to yer crims in 2009.Well going by Bopara's record in Tests, neither does he. Does make you wonder if there's a genuine chance of five bowlers.
faint hearts and all that.....Last time we went in with five bowlers at Headingley we lost by an innings & 80 to yer crims in 2009.
Suspect Taylor as straight swap for Ravi will be the only change. Bresnan's likely to get a go as it's his home test and Broad and Jimmeh are obviously safe.
A thoroughly depressing prospect then:Last time we went in with five bowlers at Headingley we lost by an innings & 80 to yer crims in 2009.

Hughes 25 off 40 in the game against Essex, looking for another red inker.Looks like Hughes is looking for a nice little not out. Don't think he is trying to clear the ropes.
Lets be fair the last time we did that was 09 at the Oval and that debutant hasn't done too bad.A thoroughly depressing prospect then:
1) No real changes to a team which has basically failed this year.
2) A debutant in arguably their biggest test in quite some time - whatever happened to all that careful planning?
If Taylor can emulate Trott and score a century in his first Test and average over 50, then he will have done very well indeed.Lets be fair the last time we did that was 09 at the Oval and that debutant hasn't done too bad.
