Dude, upload your own videos with whatever title you want if you are so precious about it. Swallow some cement and harden up FFS.

The video you linked to is blocked outside India/Pakistan etc, we can't watch it.

That's your beef, ain't it? Very well.

Crap Australian umpiring

More crap Australian umpiring

Horrible Australian umpiring

There you go. The man is consistent in his descriptions and applies his criteria to the umpires of his own nation too. Don't read too much into the descriptions and enjoy the high quality cricket that he uploads. Cheers!
I don't even like seeing someone blaming a country for a particular person's act. But yeah i think i should say Sorry.

Yes but if you look at all the other bad umpiring videos he uploads, he gives the nationality of the umpire every time. Including Aussies.
Yeah he's bagged the umpires from just about every major countries multiple times, I reckon.

Kidding yeah? Most of the Aussie commentators are blind idiots. Hardly a secret. we are not proud of our bafoon commentators.
I loved Richie though. Especially the Richie Benaud of the 70s and 80s. The videos that you upload from that time that have Richie hosting the cricket highlights those videos are just plain awesome. I kind of feel sad whenever it strikes me that Richie has retired now :(.

He has little impact on the cricket though anymore, now that 3 guys commentate together now, Richie is just the 'sometimes comment' guy out of the 3, which is ridiculous. He can't get a word in!

Oh, I was under the impression that he retired don't get to hear him too much.

Yeah this explains it somewhat. This 3 guy commentary is awful. I don't like it one bit.

It is an astonishing one - serves to reinforce the point that whatever shortcomings individual bits of equipment might have, that having some form of referral system, even if it consisted only of a third umpire with access to normal TV pictures, must be a better way of conducting a game

I wonder how De Villiers felt about that? - the thought of walking must have crossed his mind but, as Kenny Barrington found out in South Africa in 64/65, you're in a no win situation if you walk after having been reprieved by the umpire

Not the only time DeVillers has been involved in a dubious situation. Anyone remember that slips catch in England he claimed a couple of years ago?

Archie I feel Meckiff was a set up. Spoke to him many years after and he honestly believes his bowling action is NOT suspect but at that particular time he had upset some personnel on the ACB and this was definitely payback.I have no doubt whatsoever if Benaud had bowled him from the other end the result would have been the same.
Someday, a relative or a good investigative sports reporter will find out the truth and write the story but until then he has been maligned as a "chucker"
From my own personal viewpoint, the Gabba in those days was very good for spectators and i do not believe his action was suspect, and I had played the game for some time at areasonably high level so I figured I knew what I was looking at.
Interesting. I remember reading Davidson's bio and I think he says Meckiff threw his faster ball. Could be wrong must be 25 years since I read it:wacko:
