Well it saves John Terry from sleeping with brown's wife, that's for sure
Brown probably wouldn't mind, the way he gets around himself.

Yeah, either Neviller for the WC. Lets see if Hargreaves gets through the reserves first, if so might end up with a 2 month run in the first team at this rate

TBH, Carra shouldn't have retired. He'd be in the thick of Capello's plans had he stayed. Could play as CB or RB comfortably.

Fair points there Marc, but you could say that about Brown (if you'd count him as a footballer tbh). They are all Centre backs by nature, but have been asked to play at RB at some point in the last year or so (admittedly Brown more than the other two). Fact is, there's been no natural sucessor to the older Neviller, nearest is Johnson who doesn't quite reach the hights on the defensive side (though going forward offers more than enough to merit being no 1 at the moment).

Untill someone else appears, we are going to end up looking at centre backs when Johnson's not available, little other choice

Ryan Taylor, surely

Pretty sure he plays in midfield nowadays, guess what, I don't care. Pick him Fabio, before it's too late.

Who is English and an actual genuine RB though? Stuck on just Johnson and Hibbert.
Assuming we're avoiding anyone with the surname "Neville" we're ****ing struggling. Luke Young has pissed on his chips & O'Neill generally (and correctly) prefers Cuellar nowadays anyway. Bardsley? Not sure a Sunderland stiff really cuts it tho; ex-ManUre or not.

****ing Benitez. Honestly, Kuyt must give good head because a player with his touch does not deserve to play at this level. He ****ed up pretty much everything he touched.

Absolutely hilarious. Might even outdo Liverpool losing to Wigan despite having a not-far-off full strength side.

Barring some incredible screw up from Spurs or Citeh I would say 4th place is now very unlikely. Qualifying for Europe fullstop is beginning to look somewhat precarious.

Not particularly concerned about European qualification overall tbh. I'd be extremely surprised (not to mentioned disappointed!) if they couldn't maintain their position at 6 on the ladder.

In saying that, just realised Villa have 3 games up their sleeve....
