James Benning not offered a new contract by Surrey. It was only two years ago he was touted as a possible England opener. Some comedown.
True, I'd be amazed if he doesn't get another county though.

We have missed him at times this year, but it seems his attitude isn't quite what's required. Seems it may be down to lack of fitness.

Scaly, why haven't you lambasted the Lancs batsman for getting out to a real nothing bowler in Blackwell?
Lancashire are crap, plus the few that got in actually went on somewhat.

Durham busy undoing most of the good work with this last wicket partnership.

Blackwell is having an outstanding season in the Championship with both bat and ball. Proving to be a quality signing for Durham and a major reason why they're going to regain the title.

Gone off at The Oval. Man, Glamorgan's attack is toliet. James Harris included, sadly. Not very quick and not very accurate. Shame.

Yes, after six overs Surrey were already 10 runs in excess of their 10-overs D/L target.

They'd better get back out there, mind. :@

Essex staging somewhat of a recovery at Lords thanks to the wily, experienced Matt Walker and the finest keeper in the country, James Foster. A partnership currently of 163, yet still trail by 161 runs, so still plenty of work to be done.

Blackwell finishing with 7, what an effort.

Could be an interesting finish at Hove, Sussex needing 212 to win and are 10-1 at lunch having lost key batsman and skipper Mike Yardy. Expect Ed Joyce to play a big role in the outcome of that one.

Hampshire once again showing themselves to be incapable of dismissing number 8 and 9 batsman, pathetic.

Sussex have beaten hapless Worcestershire to ease our relegation fears.

100 not out from Chris Nash, and 40 not out from Murray Goodwin to raise his batting average this year to a dizzying 16.

Durham need to up the run-rate here and give themselves a better shot at winning, somewhat irritating to see this partnership going at less than 2 an over given the game situation.

Has wise a uk or eu passport?
Thought lancashire would have enough paceman.
Don't know whether he has an eu passport.

We have 8 fast bowlers in our first team squad (excluding medium pacers and academy bowlers - though two of those are injured as well) but 2 of them are on England duty and 4 are injured.

Pretty convincing win by Somerset - did they even need the lights? It's still pretty light at 8 p.m. - especially in the west country.

Always on the cards after Gloucs lost their first three wickets inside the first two overs.

To be fair they're a pretty good 8 & 9
Yeah they are (althoug both made career best today) but it happens pretty much every match, had enough of our inefective bowling this season, this was a must win game and now it will be another draw at best.
