New name in the Durham team - Keaton Jennings, son of Ray and the captain of last year's SA Under-19 team in England. Presumably playing on a EU passport, although it remains to be seen whether he wants to be the next Jon Trott - perhaps Scaly knows more ...

... and Harinath goes in the first over after lunch.
Called it last year.

Albeit slightly tongue-in-cheek.

Big first day for Durham. Need to follow it up and take home the win. Another 1-2 wins after that and Durham should be safe. Should leave us plenty of time to look at the batting.

I was wondering where counties would recruit players, seems as normal despite the 7 year wait,i thought there would be an increase of EU players, which there is,but it seems despite the 7 year wait they are still willing to import Saffies and Aussies.
Altho if i was an Aussie 7 years would be too much, worth staying in Australia, seen a number of Aussies playing 2nd xl this season despite this.

I see Brett D'Oliveira is making his First Class debut in Worcester's current game - looks like he's a leggie first and foremost - best of luck to the lad - I suspect he'll need it

He seems to have been around a long time for someone making his debut - though I suspect it's primarily because of his name that we knew about him before; he's been playing for Worcs age-group teams since he was in short trousers it seems. Odd to see the name 'BL D'Oliveira' on a scorecard again tbh.

First Class batting average will be 40 in no time. It's really such a shame that he has to bat so low because of the balance of Warwickshire's side. Hasn't stopped him hitting tons, mind...

Yeah 8 is way too low, surley he will move up soon regardless of the rest of the side.

Hampshire being fairly **** again, throwing away a good position this time round.

Waokes is a beast.

Predicting he'll be in the squad that goes to India. Whether he'll play is another matter but I can see it happening, and both his form and figures suggest he deserves it.

Just missed out on a ton but cue a 5-for.

So pissed off 24 overs in two days, on a week it's brightening up for most :(

BTW I reckon Woakes will turn into a batting all-rounder, and Stokes a bowling one in a few years.

Should have picked Durham's second XI bowling attack for Loins. Would have the Aussies all out by now.

Elsewhere Durham's first choice bowling attack is doing nicely. 5 to go.

Calling seemingly at random and based mainly on whether or not you hit the ball hard, before shouting "no" and leaving your mate high and dry...
Derby start their reply with a run-out of the non-striker without facing a ball. What kind of duck is that?

Goodwin making up for the earlier barbeque...

They're having a good season for sure but I don't think I've seen Derbyshire win on Sky yet this season - excellent opportunity to fix that tonight. Sussex need wickets.
