He was a brilliant cricket mind as well,inventing new strokes such as the late cut and the leg glance ,he also recommended field setups in his books for different type of bowlers which almost changed cricket.

Don't think Sehwag deserves to shine Ranji's boots as far as batting ability and Innovation is concerned, but can't really 'like' Ranji.
