i don't understand. stokes has requested absolute roads for this series when we all known the india batting lineup > england's. the only way india struggle traditionally is vs a seaming wicket. i mean kohli basically retired last series himself after a howler against the seamers here. why we didn't prepare green decks and back ourselves just baffles me.

probably a good decision to not bowl too many overs on day 4. It's a new ball pitch, they wanted to have another crack with the new ball in the morning with Akash & Siraj. Plus they'll still get minimum 26 overs with the 2nd new ball as well.

But there's four well established batters left. Brook, Pope, Smith, and Stokes.
