my conundrum from a few days ago seems to be playing into reality here. Do India declare at tea and give themselves 4 sessions and roughly 550 runs to defend or keep going til tomorrow and risk england batting out the draw?

Are England capable of batting out the draw? Root and Stokes aside, I don't think they are or have shown the aptitude for it yet have they?

they lasted 90 overs last innings when they batted ****, if the top order does their job they'd score big as well and survive, but that's the question, would the top order do their job?
