Well its just a Bumrah off your best XI. Admittedly he's a big inclusion but the other 10 are in your best side (with arguments over Kuldeep I suppose).
I don't think NKR and Sundar belong in our 'best XI'. Should be Siraj Bumrah Akashdeep and Kuldeep as the bowling attack with Jadeja effectively a batting all-rounder at 7.

But this lineup has worked for this game. Washy made some valuable runs and we've been gifted wickets thanks to scoreboard pressure.

Anyone able to confirm if Gill has the most runs ever after 2 matches in a series?

I've had a look at most of the 700+ runs in a series and can't find any that had more at this point?

Most I've been able to find is Gooch 579 against India in 1990. So could well be Gill has the record. If anyone wants to help and find more than Gills 585

Norwood's on Fire
The pitch thing is what it is but we all 100% know that the English print media would be going absolutely spare if India did the exact same thing for their home pitches.
Anyone else from these shores always wish the English media was as fanatical about cricket as posts like this always seem to imply?
