Fair play to SA they have come back really well. Match evenly poised now though as SA have to bat last and we have some decent weather to bake the pitch and help it break up. Still fancy an England win.

This may sound perverse, but England would probably have been in a better position now if they'd been bowled out cheaply this morning, as that rain cleared away the humidity - they basically didn't go anywhere in that 1st session.
Sick of the commentators saying "good decision, only just hitting the stumps so not out"

There's a difference between an umpire giving a not out for one that's projected to be just clipping, and HawkEye returning an "umpire's call" on a delivery that's projected to be smashing leg stump out of the ground.

Really, that 'half the ball' nonsense needs to be changed. Half the ball hitting the stump would break the wicket just as effectively as 10% of it hitting would.
We saw today the slightest tought of a medium paced ball on a bail and it is dislodged. So why does more than 50% of the ball have to be hitting the stumps to reverse an umpire's "not out" decision.?
It's just not logical.

If either Broad or Bell's pads had been slightly feathered and the ball gone over, they would have been given not out
Ridiculous!
Only saw a few hours today but Prior and Bopara were both dead to rights and given not out and I can guarantee that a few SA batsmen will receive the same benefit of the doubt
