Adkins sacked then.
What a ****ing dumb thing to do.
Adkins sacked then.
What a ****ing dumb thing to do.
Just beyond ridiculous, then just to make it worse go and replace him with someone who got sacked by Espanyol with them bottom of the table a couple of months ago. He had done a decent job before that but Atkins has done a superb job.
Yeah, really sticks in the throat. Despicable decision this.
WTF ? This makes little sense.
Well that's a bit stupid.
Raised the club 51 places in two years. Thanks for coming.
What were they expecting seriously ? European Qualification ?![]()
Theo signed on then. Good signing that, seems like a pretty big wage for a player of his ability, but if it gives the team a bit of motivation then that's alright.
Yeah done rather well for himself has Theo.
Never worth that but maybe a sign of a change in approach from Arsenal, doubt these Cavani rumours are true but that would really signal a big shift.
Can't believe they got rid of Adkins. Defies reason.

Hope they go down now. A sacking Chelsea would be proud of.
I'm just saying
RIP Craigos. A true CW legend. You will be missed.
Probably worth a punt on Everton for Monday then as the Saints players may play crap in protest/not have heads in game after this.
Hmm that never happens.
AFAIK Espanyol didn't sack him. Mutual consent.
It's the timing that gets me. Even if Pochettino is a better manager, and he probably isn't even, it just seems so disruptive to alienate the fans, media and potentially the players at a time when they're playing their best football of the season. He won't have a pre-season to work with and it's not the best time to buy players. So strange.
It's properly mental, tbf.
Saints coming off 2 defeats in 12 Prem games and a draw at the European champions.
Currently 15th and 3 points clear of the drop.
Reported in today's Indy that Nicola Cortese, So'ton's exec chairman, considered given Nige the arse after they lost to WBA in Nov. Given their form since it boggles the mind to think what's changed since.

"This is not the time for namby-pamby promising youngsters who might just do something; not the time for building for the future. Pragmatism rules and they don't come more pragmatic than Rogers."
