Oram to join NZ in CB series

New Zealand will receive a boost of experience in the Commonwealth Bank series, as Jacob Oram is due to the join the squad on Sunday, having recovered from a hamstring injury.

The allrounder has not played for New Zealand since last month, against Sri Lanka. He returned to first-class cricket two weeks ago and has since marked the event with impressive form.

The selectors are due to assess the fitness of fellow allrounder Kyle Mills, as they decide whether he too will join New Zealand in Australia. The New Zealand camp has also suggested that Scott Styris may join the team later in the series, despite his recent injury scare whilst playing against Canterbury.
