Yeah, Joe, as always, has done an excellent job in assembling his team. That's a phenomenal pace quartet, and Faulkner adds lovely balance.

I'd vote in favour of the 48hrs to swap before a vote if people want. That said, don't think I'll be voting to swap any of my players, I'm pretty happy with my team. Think this is definitely the best bowling attack I've managed to assemble - two genuine all time quicks in Imran and Donald, a very good workhorse of a quick in Kapil Dev, the medium paced swerve and cut genius of Barnes and the greatest leg-spinner ever in O'Reilly. My batting is pretty solid - Donnelly is the unknown quantity, but his FC career suggests he had what it took to continue his bright start in tests. Boycs and Greenidge as openers is a classic. Kapil at 7 and Latif at 8 give my batting some depth. Was pretty happy with Latif in the end - I wanted a genuine glovesman to stand up to Barnes and O'Reilly and complete all those dismissals.

Gordan Greenidge (7558 @ 44.72)
Geoff Boycott (8114 @ 47.72)
Everton Weekes (4455 @ 58.61)
Mahela Jayawardene (9120 @ 53.96)
Martin Donnelly (582 @ 52.90)
Imran Khan (3807 @ 37.69, 362w @ 22.81)
Kapil Dev (5248 @ 31.05, 434w @ 29.61)
Rashid Latif + (1381 @ 28.77, 119cts, 11 stumpings)
Allan Donald (330w @ 22.25)
Bill O'Reilly (144w @ 22.57)
SF Barnes (189w @ 16.43)

48 hour swap deals sounds like fun although I'm pretty sure I wont be doing too many changes with a pretty good balance to my side already. Only bit of business I've considered is maybe the swap with zinzan, if he's interested.

Whilst a swap round sound like fun, how would it work? Would I only be able to swap an aussie with another aussie? Or would it be a free for all?

Well I think it should be International. I'm unlikely to swap McGrath for even Bradman at this point :P

Whatever it takes!!!
Five of the batsmen have 10,000 + FC runs. All but Dempster have Test aggregates comparable to Grace or Trumper.. The reason why most people, including myself, won't the batting lineup very high to has nothing to do with numbers. Its similar to how people are justified in rating Pietersen higher than Yousuf. Numbers don't come into the picture, except for Dempster.
jeez man.. I thought the smileys should tell you I was kidding.

If I had gone on average alone then Azhar Mahmood and Shahid Afridi were better options ,but i will go for a player who i beleive was a better batsmen as well as bowler than the two.

Abdul Razzaq for my last pick.

Wondering if Brumby would give me Cairns for Flintoff?

Also, open to swapping Kumble for a pace bowler, Zaheer for an opener & Dishan for a wk:cool:

If interested, call my agent :p

Haha, I know you do Himannv  but for whom?
My preffered option to give you would be Sehwag. Very hesitant about breaking up my top 3 so Barry Richards is a questionable one. Hobbs is out of the question though.

Sutcliffe and Sehwag as openers is pretty good I reckon and will probably balance our your side.

How about a counter offer. As you have three openers as opposed to 3 middle-order specialists, & I have a makeshift opener... how about the great Javed Miandad for Sehwag? Would improve the balance of both sides imo

^ Or Zaheer Abbas for that matter, although I'm sure you'd prefer Miandad, who for me is still Pakistan's greatest ever batsman

I definitely like the sound of Miandad and I might agree.

Are you sure Kallis is out of bounds? Its his bowling that I'm interested in. You'll still have a top notch top 5 and 5 bowling options as well.

Can't see a worthy swap for Kallis to be honest Himannv, he was my very first pick after all

The offer of Miandad for Sehwag still stands though, as despite the fact I rate Miandad slightly > Sehwag as a batsman, the swap is good for both of us given our "one too many openers vs one opener short" dilemma

What you offer is certainly a decent deal although had my eye on Kallis as he would have been the best addition to my team. Will take you up on your offer of Miandad.
