Watching Michael Cheika getting more and more wound up this afternoon was fun, particularly as all the calls were correct.

With Underhill injured there is talk of Itoje playing at 7 this week just so as Robshaw doesn’t have to play 7 and have Eddie Jones go back on his comment early in coaching that Robshaw isn’t one.

It’s so, so dumb. Robshaw is more of an open side than Underhill, Haskell or anyone who has played in the same back row as him.

Ridiculous that the Rugby administrators have managed to not schedule an England vs All Blacks test this autumn.

Oh jog on, honestly

only beat a decent side away from home by one score, what a tragedy.
The 1st Lions test and the Springbok test at Albany are the only tests in which we played All Black standard rugby in the whole year. There is a reasonable chance that we could lose to Ireland and England

England maybe, Ireland unlikely.... but NZ will do what they always when they do not play brilliant, stay in the game; And then their superior fitness and bench strength gets them across the line. Normally by 2 tries...

England are the only team in World rugby at the moment that have a hope of competing with NZ.

I'd still back NZ to beat anyone anywhere 9 times out of 10. The ABs have lost, what, three times in two years? Once when reduced to 14 men for three quarters of the game, once in a dead rubber Bledisloe and once with the Irish halfbacks in god mode, avenged a fortnight later.

I know they set very high standards for themselves, but the evidence suggests they're probably getting better, if anything. Even yer Boks, the one side who traditionally nearly stood toe to toe, have only won twice this decade.
