1. I highly doubt Dravid is referred to as 'The Wall' instead of 'jammy' by his mates. There clearly exists a subtle difference between a nick-name and an epithet, there's a reason they exist as different terms.1. Epithet is a synonym of nickname.
2. Mr Cricket and The Wall are both nicknames or epithets however you like to call it.
