I hope you guys all realise that if you all do protest votes for Davo you'll end up eliminating McGrath.

Blakus

State Vice-Captain
Garner
Mcgrath

Been busy, so I missed the other 2 rounds but would of voted the same anyway.

And I'm closing the voting right there (I'm only voting in these matchups if a tie breaker is needed).

Waqar and McGrath progress.

Waqar 16 def Garner 6 (personally I would have rated Garner higher than Waqar and pretty much anyone other than McGrath, Marshall and Ambrose)
McGrath 17 def Davidson 5

Seventh battle:

Fred Trueman vs Wasim Akram

Fred Trueman
Fiery Fred Trueman is quite possibly the greatest English fast bowler ever to have lived.

Wasim Akram
Quite possibly the greatest left arm pace bowler the world has ever seen.

Eighth battle:

Malcolm Marshall vs Allan Donald

Malcolm Marshall
Regarded by many as the greatest fast bowler that the West Indies has ever produced - he did everything, everywhere.
http://www.cricinfo.com/westindies/content/player/52419.html

Allan Donald
White Lightning was his nickname. Donald was fast, accurate and devastated all in his path.

Please vote for one player from each battle.

Voting will close Thursday evening (Brisbane time).

and yeah, I rate Garner extremely highly too and think he is underrated, but Waqar is No.1 in my list of fast bowlers, so just HAD to vote against Garner.
