*Official* Second Test (Lord's, London) 28 June–2 July

From my neutral perspective, it somewhat evens out Root's double strike, as that was not Root, but Head & Green playing daft shots.

One bad session, agreed, but two? You don't want Brook, Stokes & YJB to come in, with 250 on the board and a shineless ball.

IMHO the main difference between Eng & Aus is in their top 3. England's openers racing (bazball or not) towards a fifty stand is a nice bonus for England.

Group A - Namibia, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates

Oh wow. What a match. And what a tournament so far.

Rather than a big win over NL, any win will do now for SL. Best chances for the Dutch are UAE beating Namibia. Or rain.

*Official* New Zealand in Australia 2022

    If 9, 10 & 11 can smash 80, it must be a belter of a wicket, not?

Like social cricket. Opps are 9 down, not too many runs on the board, time to give your lesser gods an over or two.

Starc is not going to smash 20 runs of a Santner over.....

Late reaction of Latham? When SM had the inside edge?

Even if these two construct a decent partnership, NZ should feel in control. Not only 5 wickets taken, but also a very nice economy.

Hi all, long time no see. I just tuned in to NZ-Aus. Amazing game. Tough pitch to bat on? More than decent bowling? Or crap batting today?

1st Test at Brisbane, 8th-12th of December 2021

Yeah, why was that? Conceded just the odd run....

1st Test at Brisbane, 8th-12th of December 2021

Hi all! Long time no see. This day reminded me of the first test 11 years ago. England scored 250, rather than 150, in the first innings, but it was still under par, especially when Australia replied with 450. But then the Poms scored 500/1 on day 4 & 5.

*Official* 4th Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, 4 - 8 Mar 2021

I must say I don't exactly know the laws on this: the middle of the ball, and the outer side of the off-stump? Or the whole of the ball inside the line of the stumps?

Did you really think the ball hit Rohit clearly in line? I think that's odd.

First off all: what a ball! That's superb bowling. Having said that, my first thoughts were: -Probably impact outside off -Height possibly an issue Not sure why one the commentators was thinking that was plumb. Right decision though!

*Official* 3rd Test at the Sardar Patel Sports Complex, Ahmedabad, 24 - 28 Feb 2021

Since absolutely nothing is going on in this test, and England have a lead now, isn't it time to discuss when England should declare?
