WIndies Test Squad Announced

The West Indies have named their 15 man squad for three Test matches against Pakistan in November with Lendl Simmons being the only new face within the squad.

Gordon Greenidge told Sky Sports that Simmons “has been performing well and deserves an opportunity at the highest level of the game and looks a good option for the long term.”

Simmons is 21 years of age and has played 39 first-class games for Trinidad & Tobago and averages 30.37 with the bat.

The first Test starts on 11th November at the Gaddafi Stadium followed by two more Tests at the Multan Cricket Stadium and the National Stadium starting on 19th November and 27th November respectively.

The Test series is followed by a five match ODI series.

Brian Lara (captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (vice captain), Chris Gayle, Daren Ganga, Lendl Simmons, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Runako Morton, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Omari Banks, Dave Mohammed, Daren Powell, Jerome Taylor, Fidel Edwards, Corey Collymore.
