We’re unglamourous says Fleming

Stephen Fleming has added his thoughts to the mix on New Zealand’s minimal Test playing calendar over the next 12 months by saying “we’re considered one of the less “glamorous ” teams”.

The Black Caps are only playing two Tests over the next 12 months and New Zealand coach John Bracewell added his thoughts to the discussion with NZPA in saying “we have to be more consistent in winning outside New Zealand to be a more attractive proposition.”

“We cannot compare ourselves in this regard with Australia, India, Pakistan and England, and do not play in such frequent series,” Bracewell added.

The two Tests are played against Sri Lanka in December in Christchurch and Wellington.

The Black Caps are currently preparing for two warm-up games against local Indian teams prior to their first Champions Trophy match against South Africa on 16th October.
