Warne reaches 700 wickets
James Nixon |Shane Warne has reached the mammoth achievement of 700 Test wickets today by clean bowling Andrew Strauss for 50 shortly before tea on day one at Melbourne.
After taking the wicket Warne ran 20 metres celebrating the dismissal and was surrounded by excited teammates, along with the MCG crowd rising to acknowledge the achievement.
Warne announced that he will retire following the fifth Ashes test at the Sydney Cricket.
