Warne, McGrath join new league

Recently retired Australian’s Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath, have signed up with the new Indian Premier League according to an Australian newspaper.

Despite rejecting the renegade ICL’s offer, Warne is reported to have made himself available for the BCCI version together with partner-in-crime Glenn McGrath and New Zealand’s Stephen Fleming according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“Warne, McGrath and Fleming have signed contracts to play in the IPL,” vice-president Lalit Modi said.

“The trio will be a part of our centralised pool of players and available for signing by the franchisees.”
