Tigers call up Abdur Razzak

Bangladesh have called up left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak into their squad for the upcoming tours of Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Razzak has played 14 one-day internationals and taken 18 wickets at an average of 26.77 with best bowling figures of 3 for 17 against Sri Lanka in 2004.

Chairman of selectors Faruk Ahmed said Razzak was being taken due to his recent good performances with Bangladesh A who toured Zimbabwe recently.

Bangladesh are due to play five one-day internationals in Zimbabwe starting on 29th July followed by three one-day internationals in Kenya starting on 12th August.

Habibul Bashar (captain), Khaled Mashud, Javed Omar, Mohammad Rafique, Rajin Saleh, Mohammad Ashraful, Mashrafe Mortaza, Aftab Ahmed, Mushfiqur Rahim, Alok Kapali, Shahriar Nafees, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel, Abdur Razzak, Sakib Al Hasan and Forhad Reza.
