Shane Bond-Ruled out of SL Tests

Shane Bond has ruled himself out of making an international comeback next month when Sri Lanka tour New Zealand for two test matches.

Bond made his return to first-class cricket last week with Canterbury and took 1/85 from 19 overs while contributing 15 and 21 with the bat. It was a disappointing performance for the Canterbury team in going down to Central Districts by an innings and 19 runs in the State Championship.

Bond is now aiming to return to international cricket in August/September.
