Shabbir recalled for SA ODIs

Pakistan fast bowler Shabbir Ahmed has been recalled for the upcoming five match one-day international series against South Africa.

Shabbir has played 32 one-day games to date and taken 33 wickets at an average of 36.12. He played his last ODI against the West Indies in May 2005, and has been the subject of a suspect bowling action which the International Cricket Council recently cleared, but it is understood that he is still being monitored closely.

Abdul Razzaq and Shahid Afridi also join up with the Pakistan team for the one-day series while Danish Kaneria and Shahid Nazir will return home at the conclusion of the third Test.
