Pollock returns for second Test

Shaun Pollock has made his way to Sri Lanka following the birth of his second child and is available for selection for the second Test at the P.Saravanamuttu Stadium in Colombo.

Pollock is expected to replace Andre Nel in the starting eleven after he took one wicket at a cost of 114 runs in the first Test in which Sri Lanka scored a mammoth 756-5 declared. South Africa finished up losing the Test by an innings and 153 runs.

Herschelle Gibbs is still suffering from a stomach bug which meant he had to bat down the order in the second innings of the first Test, but he is likely to recover in time to take his place in the eleven.

Sri Lanka welcome back the experienced Chaminda Vaas who has recovered fully from a hamstring injury.
