Patel to miss ODI

Indian fast bowler Munaf Patel has been ruled out of his team’s clash against South Africa tomorow.

He is suffering from a sore left ankle, and could be replaced by spinner Anil Kumble. Irfan Pathan is also expected to take a place in the side, that of a batsman.

India are also optimistic that Virender Sehwag will return for them, his batting could be a much-needed boost following Wednesday’s abysmal display, where they were bowled out for 91.
