Nitini in doubt for tri-series

Makhaya Ntini is in doubt for the upcoming tri-series against Sri Lanka and India after suffering a hamstring injury during the second Test loss to Sri Lanka.

Ntini received intensive overnight treatment in being woken every two hours by team physiotherapist Shane Jabaar for ice treatment.

It didn’t prove beneficial however as Nitini was unable to take to the field of play for the fifth day.

The tri-series starts on 14th August when Sri Lanka play South Africa at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Each team plays each other twice, before a final.
