McGrath rested for 3rd ODI

Glenn McGrath has been rested for Australia’s 3rd ODI against New Zealand at Auckland, to be played tomorrow (Saturday).

McGrath’s spot will be taken by Michael Kasprowicz, who missed the last game after being replaced by Brett Lee.

Matthew Hayden, who is troubled with a shoulder injury will sit out, and be replaced by Simon Katich, who will also take his spot at the top of the order, instead of Michael Clarke, who filled in for him during the VB series.

Australia lead the five-match series 2-0, which means New Zealand needs to win the Auckland tie to keep the series alive.
