Lee to Return Home

Brett Lee is to return to Australia and play no further part in the Chappell-Hadlee Series after a breathing difficulty resurfaced whilst on tour in New Zealand.

Lee, 29, was treated for a nasal infection prior to the Ashes series. His problem stems from a narrowing of the left nasal passage, caused by a suffering from cellulitis.

After a poor performance against New Zealand today, when Lee conceded 81 runs from his ten overs, Lee consulted a doctor in Wellington before deciding to return to Sydney for specialist treatment.
