Kenya/Bangladesh Series Delayed

The one-day international series between Kenya and Bangladesh has been pushed back by three weeks due to a lack of sponsors.

With no companies coming forward to put US$176,000 towards covering the costs of the Bangladesh tour, the Kenyan Cricket Association have been forced to postpone the series by three weeks in the hope that a sponsor will be found.

Tom Tikolo, the Kenyan Cricket chief executive has said the board are talking to a few sponsors and hope to reach a deal within two weeks.

Bangladesh will arrive in Kenya as planned on July 15th but will use their stay just for training and to acclimatise prior to travelling to Zimbabwe for four one-day internationals with the first being played on 29th July in Harare.
