Justin Vaughan new NZC CEO

New Zealand Cricket have announced that current board member Justin Vaughan will become their new Chief Executive.

Vaughan replaces Martin Snedden who resigned late last year to become the Chief Executive for Rugby New Zealand 2011 Ltd.

The chairman of New Zealand Cricket Sir John Anderson said “As an NZC board member, a former Black Cap and a successful chief executive officer, Justin has all the attributes required to take over from Martin Snedden and to lead New Zealand Cricket.”

Vaughan is a qualified medical practitioner and is currently the Chief Executive of BrainZ instruments which is an Auckland based medical technology.

Vaughan played six Tests and 18 one-day internationals during his spell with the Black Caps between 1992 and 1997 and takes up the role on June 7th.
