India close in on England

India have moved up two placings in the latest ICC Test Rankings and are now only four points behind England who are in second place.

The 1-0 series win over England earnt India five points and moved them ahead of South Africa and Sri Lanka.

By drawing the final Test, England avoided a bullet, where if India had taken the series 2-0, they would have been level on ranking points with India at 107 a piece with England only retaining second place on decimal points.
