Hair withdraws lawsuit against PCB

Australian umpire Darrell Hair has withdrawn his lawsuit claiming racial discrimination against the Pakistan Cricket Board.

A PCB official made the following brief statement: “We are not surprised he has dropped his outrageous allegation of racism against us.”

Reports coming out indicate that Hair has not dropped his lawsuit claiming unfair dismissal against the ICC however.

Hair was sacked from the International Cricket Council’s elite panel of umpires following the ball-tampering saga at The Oval in England last year.

The ICC have said they believe there is no merit to Hair’s case.
