Ganguly gives India scare

Sourav Ganguly has given India a fitness worry ahead of the Second Test at Trent Bridge, starting on Friday.

With the rain once more coming down, India took the training session into the indoor nets, and whilst Ganguly was padded up, it was decided that he should sit it out.

He was visibly struggling during the Lords Test, and reports confirm that he is suffering from a stiff lower back.

Ganguly looked in good touch at Lords, and if the injury is deemed serious enough to keep him out, despite claims there is nothing to worry about, he will leave a void in the middle order.

Yuvraj Singh has been earmarked to replace Ganguly should he not recover.
