Franklin in doubt for fifth ODI

James Franklin is in doubt for the fifth ODI against Sri Lanka in Hamilton on Tuesday after being flown back to Wellington for checks to be done on a knee injury. A decision on his availability for selection is yet to be made.

The news is good for Daniel Vettori however with it appearing as though he is over the stomach virus which forced him to miss the fourth one-dayer in Auckland over the weekend.

The fifth ODI does look as though it will become a stop start affair with the weather forecast predicting rain with a high of 25 degrees.
