Somebody tell Ian Chappell that the players are not getting onto the front foot to spinners today is that the bounce is consistent and lowish and the pitch is slow .
Which allows the batsman all the time to play most balls on the backfoot.

He just keeps criticising the bowlers too much.
No worries. I'll let him know.

Need to up the ante just a bit.Required RR just creeping over 5.5 .

Sachin was managing it so well..

Wickets in hand is key as long as it doesnt go too far above 6 and hit 7 we are fine

these 2 playing very senisbly milking their spinners

Might be because he's, well, Sachin. This pitch is not fun to bat on vs. decent spin.
Still can't let the RR GO up to 6 because it will be even less fun to bat on with the pressure of scoring run a ball later on.

Better to manage it now ,then to leave it for later and let the pressure build.

That's why i said just a little bit.

Ghambir getting too many easy runs. He has 36 and nearly scoring at a run a ball with only 2 boundaries, excellent batting but makes you wonder about the field.

There is no reason to let it go over 6 at any time ,tbh.

Once it goes in that territory wickets in hand or not it becomes really troublesome.

Specially on such a wicket and such a pressure situation.

Actually think Australia is doing the right thing here. At this rate they'll have the 10 spinning overs done by the 30th. Sure those overs are going at about 5 rpo, but frankly I'd have taken that against this line up in these conditions.

India should win this. If they don't it will be a big failure for the middle order. They have a near perfect platform.
