Game over. Well played though Holland!

EDIT: Fielder should have been on the rope.

What fight displayed by Netherlands! They didn't get the upset, but they can be proud of their effort today. :)

Shame for Holland. But it was a very good match.

Hopefully the dutch can knockover one of the hosts. That would be epic.

Zimbabwe are not an associate. I mean Ireland, Netherlands, etc.
Zim don't play test cricket no more so they are an associate as well if you ask me, the only thing that really separates them from the other associates is that they have got sort of a domestic structure in place.

Anyways the problem with the associate nations is that all their good players get poached by stronger teams and unless ICC puts a lid on that there is no way an associate nation would ever make any real progress.

Not if you actually look at his performances it isn't. Certainly not a great player and nowhere near good enough to make the SA side.

Good chase by England, timed very well, and got home without having to take too many risks. Worked the ball round well in those quieter middle overs, then found the boundaries when needed towards the end. That shouldn't paper over the cracks that were clearly there in the first half, and we cannot afford a repeat performance of that against India on Sunday.

Pleased that Colly saw us home along with a decent cameo from Bopara at the end.

Excellent showing from Holland, to make a real contest of it. RTD effective with the ball aswell as his outstanding contribution with the bat.

Surely he's a better value for money player than a McLaren or a Miller also his record for Essex across all formats is excellent. Talking of his county record, any chance he might qualify to play for England..?

He got asked the England question last year, by the press or someone and he want's to play for SA.

He's said he he doesn't want to play for England, as he's South African. Which is curious in itself.

Are we seriously saying that Colin Ingram and Faf du Plessis are both far better than RtD? He'd make the side.
