Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Wait, that match did not include Tendulkar. So I might mix that match with this: 3rd Test: India v Pakistan at Bangalore, Mar 24-28, 2005 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo

Home XI

Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Ganguly, Dinesh Karthik, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan, Kumble, Zaheer

Visiting XI

Langer, Hayden, Martyn, Inzamam, Yousuf, Younis, Gilchrist, Warne, Gillespie, Kasprowicz, McGrath

-----

I am shocked to notice that we lost the test to Pakistan that had an attack comprising Sami, Razzaq, Kaneria, Afridi, Arshad Khan :-O

Not sure if you mean home/visitor based on country or based on who the home and away team were at the match? If the latter then the team would be mixed up a bit more, as one or two listed below are from when I've gone to see Middlesex.

Home XI

Trescothick
Cook
Vaughan*
Thorpe
Pietersen
Flintoff
Foster+
Gough
Anderson
Hoggard
Panesar

Never seen Matt Prior play, so will include James Foster who I've seen play for Essex against Middlesex. Gough also is included because I saw him play at Lord's against Middlesex. The bowling looks good in this but the batting a bit shaky. Maybe Collingwood could come in for one of the seamers, but I like the four prong pace attack.

Visiting XI

Smith*
Gayle
Sangakkarra
Kallis
Lara
Chanderpaul
Boucher+
Vaas
Morkel
Murali
Ntini

Steyn wasn't playing when I went to see South Africa (Oval 2008). Seen Andy Flower on the county circuit before he retired but was a shadow of his best at the time so don't really count him. Jayawardene is unlucky to miss out, I decided a specialist keeper in Boucher was better than having Sanga keep and play a proper batsman at 7. I've also seen New Zealand in an ODI at Bristol, but none of their players are good enough to get in. :p

Could not quite fit in Wasim. Maybe I will have him instead of one of the spinners. Maybe instead of McGrath as Ambrose is already there... :)

actually the indian team was, for some reason, not as good as a unit on the ground as it was on paper

Very difficult selecting a well balanced team for each of these .Could easily select another couple of teams ,both from home and away, but would like to watch a game featuring these players

PS: And yes I have seen them ALL Play.

When you look at the above you could ask why are the aussie top heavy in bowling but with the quality of the batsmen selected, that's all you would need

Also batting orders would be changed

Norwood's on Fire
Basing my selections off the performances I've seen, rather than the best players I've watched, if that makes sense. That should explain some ommissions.

JBMAC,

Please list the best eleven mahjong players you have witnessed during your time on the mahjong circuit.
