Just because six 6's were whacked of his one over doesn't necessarily turn him into a terrible T20 bowler, tbh i think Broad is a much better limited overs bowler than he is in the longer form of the game, and it was really his strong T20 performances for Leicestershire that helped him break into the English side in the first place, and 28 wkts @ an eco rate of 6.7 in 22 T20 games is hardly a terrible record.
His T20 International record is not good. Average of 27 at Eco rate of 8 per over.

I just cannot believe what you did. Trying to defend a Strike rate of 60 in 18 ODIs stating bad pitches?

Tendulkar, Dhoni, Gambhir et all played the CB series also mate, and they all averaged in the 80s! Admittedly he had a poor run against Bangladesh, but a SR of 30 against the worst team in the world begs belief.
When your team is 50-5 or in a similar state, which was often the case with Australia right through in the CB series and in West Indies, then you can't really expect a batsman to gunning the ball to all parts of the ground can you, and btw his SR has taken a plunge because of his knocks in West Indies and Darwin, in CB series his SR is not that bad at all.

In other news Pietersen to get $1.3 million base price in IPL - report

I think its a fair enough base price for the man, and Freddie too at a base price of $900,000 is pretty failry price, but what the hell are like of Saj Mahmood, Cork and Joyce trying to do by putting their names into the hat, can't see too many franchises lining up to sign them.

In other rumours, reports claim that Michael Clarke, the Australia vice-captain, will be listed for the auction at a base price of $ 1 million. However, the Australian newspaper reported that Clarke was yet to decide on his participation in the IPL.

50-5 often included Clarke among them.

Swann and Panesar are both better than Kreyfish IMO. Broad > McDonald and
^ Doesn't matter much none will take any wickets

Flintoff > Siddle
Johnson > Anderson
Lee =Sidebottom
Agree with this, but if Krejza plays he'll score a reverse-ton in both innings therefore making him the worst.

I suppose the reserve prices have to be higher as with such a small % of players to actually be picked, there's not going to be much actual bidding.

Jesse Ryder and Maybe Tim Southee are the only ones I can see getting a deal in the IPL.

Kieran Powell from the West Indies would have a pretty good chance, he is going to be a good player one day.

There going to be a lot of players with smashed egos after this. Aparting only 16-20 of those players are likely to be selected. Most side will struggled to fit in more then 2-3 players under $2 mill.

Time for expansion?

Vusi Sibanda is wasting his time seriously. If the IPL expanded to 28 teams he'd struggle to get a game. Elton Chigumbura should have nominated though, real clean striker of the ball.
