**Official** Under -19 World Cup 2014

Not 2 bad of a performance by England. Maybe should have won but maybe not. Had to bring back their one cutting edge bowler in Fisher early in the chase to break the partnerships but that was always going to leave them a little exposed with Jones and Winslade with plenty of overs to bowl who are average at this standard.

Pakistan clearly with the better players and further down the development line and having won the previous 8 games in the last year against England it seemed a tough ask. Zafar had the ball on a string last summer in England. Higgins the other day scored 80 the other day but it was a real struggle and it looks like it was the same today with too many dots. England with 4 or 5 good players but the rest lacking a bit of class at the moment.

Winslade fella pulled a real mare out the bag. Actually felt for him.

Getting to Pakistan. Some of the last SA u19 boys can't believe Zia Ul-Haq particularly still qualifies for u19 level and tbh if you look at him they do have a point :)

The 2 openers and the 2 spinners have been the standouts for Pakistan.

Wasn't Zia playing in the last one as well?

But Ehsan Adil isn't playing in this one and he is better than Zia, so if Pak were to cheat, wouldn't they have kept Ehsan instead.

Really?

Anyone else you found to be an exciting prospect? Maybe PEWS could answer this?
Gohar, him and the windies player Pooran are the most well developed player in the tourney the leggie Karamat from Pakistan is also very very good.India has a good chinaman and their two batsmen Samson and Zol are very highly rated also English seamer Fischer looks alright.

How twattish were the England side behaving when that 6th wicket went down? Horrible.

Can't believe they lost that as well, after 7 down figured they'd romp it. Bloke they were having a go at ended up winning the game for Pakistan.

There has been some terrible behaviour by a lot of sides in this competition. Could make future years at test level feisty.

Happy that Pak got up to win that after England seemed focus on lipping off to people rather than playing cricket.
