theres no way Kagiso Rabada doesnt play a test, right
Damn impressive ! But the most important thing is what he does at FC level after this tournament as there are some impressive young quicks debuting this and last season around. But without doubt our most exciting 'Black African' talent.

Right. I expect him to get the closest out of this team, but Valli could be a real asset too.
Fortuin, Oldfield and Rabada have senior contracts (franchise or semi-pro)

But the captain Markram and Valli have been very impressive too.

On Rabada playing Tests, have a watch of this video. Note the huge inconsistency in speeds between he and McLaren (McLaren got quicker as the over went, in fact). This is a year ago but whilst being young and quick is fantastic and will get you noticed, playing Tests and FC cricket puts your body under a much bigger load than LO cricket (see Pat Cummins and Shaun Tait). Picking a young quick just because he gets above 90, especially considering SA's embarrassment of riches in the pace department, would be a bit silly.

I notice Tertius Bosch's son is playing for SA too. Poor kid would have been through a lot, great to see.

You're the type of bloke who tells a 3 year old there is no Easter Bunny.

Afghanistan closing in on a win over Sri Lanka. Bloody good tournament for them all things considered, though again having had a casual glance through the profile pics of the team one has to be a little sceptical as to how many of the squad are actually under 19.
