20th birthday for this thread on Friday.

Hell of a career nonetheless.

The only shame about his career, in slam finals , his worst opponent was Milos at Wimbledon and then it was the iconic 3 elsewhere.

Those 3 are obviously ATG'S but even they avoided each other and got much more winnable finals especially Federer.

You are referring to Murray right? I thought Ali was talking about this thread itself in that post...?

Wow, Rybakina gone already!
That was a crazy tiebreak, took over half an hour. Her forehand broke down, so many unforced errors.

5 of the top 10 seeds gone in the women's comp, Gauff or Sabalenka look the likeliest winners (but meet in a semi).

Sabalenka repeating looks like the likeliest possibility now that Rybakina is gone. I don’t think the other top players can challenge her on this surface if she is on her game.

“Oh my God, this is the wokest tournament ever!” Australian Jordan Thompson vented to the chair umpire during his first-round match at the Australian Open, which is allowing fans for the first time to move in and out of the stadium between games instead of when players change ends.
Lol.

This is why De Minaur, despite his ranking, doesn't hit the heights of Kyrgios at his best. He works his arse off, and plays consistently well, but he doesn't have the ceiling that allows him to compete against the best players in grand slams.

If Kyrgios worked half as hard as De Minaur, he would have won a handful of grand slams.
