actually this is in england so he'll probably take 7fer and trick everyone into thinking he's turned a corner before getting pumped in our home season.

much like his domestic career.

Our dibbly-dobbly through the middle overs routine is going to play into Englands' hands here, as they'll happily accumulate with Morgan and Buttler to come in the last 15 overs. But if we could take two wickets that would really disrupt their game plan.

Wow, Franklin went past someone's edge

Looks a full house (2,500) at Lords today.

Dunno what to make of this new England kit. Didn't they lose 6-1 to us a few years back wearing all red?

geez our bowling lacks beyond the first three. 20/20 hindsight suggests we should have bitten the bullet in SA and continued with Anderson or Neesham beyond the 20/20 series since they're both genuine allrounders, not dominant in one discipline like Franklin etc.

Munro is the ticket. Serious here too - so long as he bats at 7 or 8.

His bowling is ticketyboo.

Munro's bowling is so hittable that he doesn't even bowl for Auckland in t20 iirc, and not much in one dayers either. Something about those 120k deliveries from no great height that says 'hit me'.

is munro even in the squad? terrible front foot offside technique but he did score an odi 50 against SA when he was given an opportunity. surprising to see him dropped so fast from everything.
