Top stuff from Sodhi. He's got some good variation going today.

The bad news is Sodhi was getting serious turn and bounce... now NZ have to bat...

Fantastic. Really pleased with that. Hoped to chip away another two or three wickets in the first session; to be batting before lunch is terrific.

This pitch should provide a much more realistic examination of how NZ play spin.

It's a tough game: Bracewell had two drops and a sharp chance go begging, and he's going to lose his place based on that rather than his usual filth. Wagner, barring a second innings self destruction, is locked in to be the third seamer against the West Indies imo.

he's bowled a couple but to the left hander they're rather flat and well outside leg stump. He needs to be able to get them straighter and with a bit more bite. A bit like Boult's out swinger, needs a bit of work but he'll get there.

Well Bracewell should never have been in the team to start with. Wagner has improved a bit, but he's never been as bad as some people think. He's comfortably been better than Doug in the last year or so.

Glad we picked Sodhi over Tastle guys? Still incredibly inexperienced, but what Vettori, Baz etc have said clearly wasn't all BS.

NZ right on top here, a good start required but a big lead should be targeted, key wicket for Bangladesh is KW one feels

 the facial expressions as he runs in!

I was going to make a positive post about him but then I saw the face, and the "look how scary I am" throw aim that wasn't scary at all.

agreed. I've been calling for Bracewell to be dropped for a while now though.

I think ideally Wagner would be in an Onions/Bresnan role where you know he's going to be an excellent replacement for other more talented bowlers (e.g. Milne).

As of now though he has to be first choice 3rd seamer.

well Al-Amin certainly looks like he has good control. Don't think he gets much swing but will probably be a handful on seaming wickets. Could be useful for Bangladesh.

Also can't believe we have the biggest turner (out of the two teams) of the ball in our team. He's quite quick through the air too.

fuls defending too wide again, but the conditions won't expose it
He always does that though, right?

Not watching right now but have been impressed with Fulton this series. Not that he's been particularly fluent but rather that he's batted like someone with a brain - prepared to dig in knowing that the runs will come eventually. Realised in the last match that all he needed to do in those conditions was defend straight, wait for the bad ball and occasionally hit through the line (usually for six). Might have had some tips from T. Boult .

Hehe, Happy as a clam to see us batting already  Great decision to drop Bartin for Wagner, must be said !
