I don't mind Malinga coming on. The pressure is maintained. Kulasekara bowling meant just giving easy runs when runs were very precious.
True - Morgan's managed 1 run from 9 deliveries faced against Malinga in this spell.

England could do with finishing this off relatively quickly... take the power play etc.

Quite a significant chance it'll come down to NRR.

Prior key difference in these overs.

SL were well short.....perhaps 250 would have challenged....

Dirty over from Malinga

What a masterstroke it was by Strauss to get the team to play like **** for six games against Australia so that everyone would underestimate us.

As I understand it, England>>>>>everyone

No, but seriously, great performance it seems. When Jimmeh is hot he is untouchable, and the batsmen have finally done their jobs. I hope this continues, would love another CB Series type win.

Never saw either but I don't doubt that, I just expected them to give it to Morgan anyway (and so did cricino tbh). Should have been Jimmeh anyway, ***y manbeast

Hmm. When conditions heavily favour the bowlers I'm tempted to give MOTM to the only batsman who dominated the opposition attack. Completely changed the game did Colly.
