*Official* Australia in Pakistan 2022

Kirkut

International Regular
This the best Babar Azam can get as a limited overs batsman, his natural peak game. No one should expect from him to accelerate like Rohit Sharma.

Good effort to get 210 from 5-65 but green and Carey really have to be reprimanded for there shot selection. Greens still inexperienced but a wild heave when the partnership is just starting to look good is pretty poor, Carey not much better, went into slog mode when he still had a decent chunk of batting to come with a boundary the ball before.

Gob

International Coach
a boy was he, his name was trundler
the day came, his mother's heart torn so asunder
"I browse day to day the cricket vBulletin" he said
"You're done" she said "for my son is dead"

we watched him grow with trembling anticipation
only to watch him develop a perverse persuasion
one of us is to blame, but lets not talk about names
the hookers and crack he got from James

first time seing this. haha

You'd have to be one of the worst players in the history of the game at fiding gaps if you've middled 100% of balls and still gone at less than a run-a-ball.

That would be incredibly hard to do even if you tried to hit every ball to a fielder

i mean you can middle a block lol
I thought I could go through the commentary and disprove the graphic by pointing out his left or missed some balls but he actually did hit every ball he faced. There were definitely quite a few defensive shots tbf.

If you look at the categories there though, there's nothing in between "middled" and "edged". This ball in particular definitely wasn't edged but I saw it and he didn't middle it either. I think they just need something in between those two.

Ellis to Babar Azam, 1 run
Nearly a catch at short mid-on! Another man was placed there, Head, just in front of the non-striker. Ellis bowls this back of a length on off, Babar punches uppishly and loosely back down the pitch. Head lunges to his left but it's just out of reach and goes for a single through mid-on.
