Very happy that the tour went without any incidents from all accounts most Australian players seemed very happy with the arrangements hopefully this opens the doors for regular tours in the future by all Western teams.
Echo this entirely btw. Up until the first day of the 1st Test I was convinced something would go wrong and the tour wouldn't go through.

Results wise not the best but glad in a way Rambo Raja pitch doctoring backfired. Due to fear of Aus pace attack they cut of Shaheen legs who was their biggest weapon with the ball and putting all their eggs in two pathetic uncles basket and in the end it was poetic justice Cummins n co still wrecked them with reverse. Shaheen is not your typical Pak pacer who relies on skidding reverse stuff his main weapons are pace bounce and conventional swing sure there was a chance that Aus pacers would have wrecked us more but atleast it would have lead to more watchable cricket .
I will keep Babar as captain the captaincy does not effect his batting atleast not yet and tactics wise he is not the best but I think he will do well with a strong coach who is good with the strategies someone like an Andy Flower or Tom Moody who both coach in PSl so could be roped in for the job.

Despite the less then ideal results I like the core that is coming together Abdullah and Naseem were the biggest positives in the series and hopefully they continue to develop on this. Biggest area of concern is the spin department the uncles were awful and should have been binned after the 2nd test Yasir is almost done and Shadab does not seem interested in test cricket so there is a desperate need to identify two young spinners (Abrar Ahmed?)at the domestic circuit and back them to get results.

Once again thanks to Cricket Australia for making this happen and hope to.see them again in Pakistan with better pitches.

Pretty cool series, some great test moments and Australia showed class in that win, the ODI series was back and forth for a bit with some outstanding work from Babar and Imam and then a bit of a drab T20 finale but hey ho, the latter was just a bit of fun for the raucous crowd.

So here's my ratings for the tour:

Player of the Tour:
Babar Azam...duh! One of the great test knocks at Karachi kept the home side in the series and then two outstanding centuries in the ODI leg solidified his position as possibly the best all format cricketer on the planet.

Runner up: Pat Cummins, taking 12 wickets at just 22 is exceptional anywhere, it is downright impressive on the dead tracks which were dished out in Pakistan. Add to that the burden of captaincy..where he wasn't always perfect but got the job done.

Batting Innings of the Tour
Babar Azam 196 at Karachi...what more is there to say that hasn't already been said? A sublime test knock, breaking records along the way. Babar may not be a great tactical captain yet but he is certainly great at leading from the front.

Bowling Spell of the Tour
Starc 3-29 at Karachi. That reverse, that pace, those left arm angle yorker...everything people love about left arm pacers was on show and if not for Babar, this should have been a match winning spell.

Moment of the Tour
Nothing specific here, but the general camaraderie, professionalism and good will from both sets of players was impressive. Cummins led the side like a man, instead of the childish behaviour of previous captains. let's hope it continues.
