Think this is the game, right here. NZ get Ben &/or Jonny Red early doors and it's a 50/50 game again.

Our tail looks very long and Parkinson extends it further.
Looking back a couple of hours or so, to when we were discussing whether CDG and Southee may keep NZ competitive at 125 or so, clearly we were overrating England's batting as actually NZ may well be the side with a first innings lead when Latham and Young bat again. Shrugs, but that's where we're at nowadays. Oh, and there goes Bairstow. Bowled, as is his wont.

Well this is entertaining. How funny will it be if England’s tail also out-bats the recognised players.

Potts is probably a couple of places too high at 8, isn't he.

EDIT
Yup, looks that way. Not his fault of course.

So predictable. Look the only way to change England is to rip up the batting and start again, with Root the only one to survive, it's utterly pointless doing anything else, you can change the bowling attack after that if you like. Yet all of them to go. It sounds insane, but is it any more insane than having to watch this again and again and again.

Pope's selection was always ridiculous given his test record over the last 12 months and there were alternatives available. Probably Bairstow too. No idea what to do about the openers as we've already got through loads of them lately.

What a disaster area .Can stokes explain why he cloned Root after lunch by bowling Broad instead of Potts.why is the best young batsman who plays for Yorkshire not playing whike the perennial failure from the south is at 3
